Cutting Fluids

Straight Oils:

Cutting fluid not intended to be mixed with water.  

DURAKUT CO-100 – A Specialty cutting and grinding oil that does not contain sulfur or chlorine. This General Motors-approved product has excellent boundary film lubrication and rust protection.

FALCONITE V-10– Vegetable Based Cutting Oil.

Falconite V-10 is high performance, low to medium viscosity; vegetable based cutting oil, ideal for machining and grinding of almost all materials. It is ideal for high production shops machining stainless steel, high temp alloys, titanium, and other difficult machine materials. Falconite V-10 is formulated with a vegetable base stock, making this product biodegradable and more environmentally friendly than traditional straight cutting oils, while at the same time providing the same exceptional performance.

DURAKUT GD – High Performance Gun Drilling Oil.

DuraKut GD is petroleum-based cutting oil for deep hole drilling of steels and difficult alloys, such as Inconel. DURACUT GD provides superior lubricity for greater machining accuracy, improved machine uptime and first time capability, due to fewer rejects and increased productivity.

DURAKUT 2100 – Sulfurized Threading and Cutting Oil.

DuraKut 2100 is an heavy-duty cutting oil with high levels of EP and associated lubricity. Uses a low viscosity oil that provides outstanding performance in heavy-duty operations where machining tolerance and finish is critical, such as deep-hole drilling. Is suitable for all kinds of steel under normal cutting operations and can be used on brass, bronze and other copper-bearing alloys.

DURAKUT 2185 – High Performance Dual Purpose Cutting Oil.

DuraKut 2185 is a heavy duty straight cutting oil with high levels of EP additives and associated lubricity.It is available in various viscosities to meet specific customer’s processing requirements.

DURAKUT TPO – Tri-Purpose Cutting Oil.

Tri-Purpose oil, meaning it can be used as a cutting oil, hydraulic fluid and machine lubricant in screw machines and other straight cutting oil applications, without relying on chlorinated additives. Its low viscosity provides better cooling which allows for higher productivity.

DURAKUT 6000B – Synthetic Misting or MQL Lubricant.

DuraKut 6000B is a moderate to heavy-duty near dry machining fluid, designed to replace flooded coolants. 6000B can be applied using minimum quantity lubrication (MQL) equipment and may be used in a variety of metalworking applications including sawing, broaching, and tapping.

 

Soluble Oils:

Water dilutable fluids with high oil content, emulsifiers and performance additives.   

 

DURAKUT 3030 – High Performance Water Soluble Fluid for Magnesium Machining.

DuraKut 3030 is water-soluble coolant especially formulated for machining of magnesium. CHEM-KUT 3030 is very stable in hard water.  This product is also used in high-pressure hydroforming as the inside lube due to its high tolerance for hard water. May also be used on steels and other non-ferrous metals.

DURAKUT  Z1- Multi-purpose Cutting and Grinding Fluid.

DuraKut Z1 is a sulfonate-free soluble oil used to machine ferrous and non- ferrous metals including: cast iron, stainless steel, strategic alloys, titanium, and aluminum. This highly engineered formula contains antiwear and extreme pressure additives chosen to provide best in class machining performance regardless of the severity of the operation.

DURAKUT 6035– Heavy Duty Neo-Soluble Oil.

Designed for machining a wide-range of metals in high pressure machines.  Product provides “soluble oil” performance while providing the coolant and machining benefits of a semi-synthetic.  This product uses a balanced combination of natural and synthetic esters and extreme pressure additives for enhanced lubricity, especially on alloy steels.  This product can be dyed blue- Durakut 6035B.

DURAKUT 6035NC –Water Soluble Micro-emulsion Cutting & Grinding Fluid.

DuraKut 6035NC is a heavy duty, universal BIOSTABLE soluble-micro concentrate for machining and grinding of all metals, including aluminum. This product does not contain chlorinated EP additives and is also DEA-free.

DURAKUT 7821 – Water Soluble Cutting & Grinding Fluid.

DuraKut 7821 is an economical, heavy duty, universal BIOSTABLE soluble oil. Loaded with extreme pressure and lubricity additives to reduce friction and wear on tooling. Ideally suited for production runs on aluminum, stainless and tool steels.

 

Semi-Synthetic Fluids:

Water dilutable fluids with low oil content, emulsifiers, performance additives, and corrosion inhibitors.  

DURAKUT 525  – Heavy duty General purpose semi-synthetic cutting fluid.

Extremely good rust protection, very bio stable, exceptional wetting, clean running, sulfonate free, chlorine free,  sulfur free and phenol free. GM Gen III approved, Chrysler approved.

DURAKUT 450 – High Quality, High Oil semi-synthetic metalworking coolant. 

Specifically designed for machining and grinding of cast iron, steels, brass and aluminum.  DuraKut 450 is based on new technology resulting in biostability without biocide, low foaming, and low to no odor, high enhanced lubricity, emulsion stability, as well as cleanability and tramp oil rejection. This product uses a balanced combination of natural and synthetic esters and extreme pressure additives for enhanced lubricity, especially on alloy steels.  This product can be dyed blue- Durakut 5035B.

DURAKUT 601EP – Advanced Technology High Quality Coolant.

DuraKut 601 is a high performance machining fluid specifically designed for aluminum machining applications. It has Generation 3 bio resistance technology and class-leading biostability. The product generates very little foam, leaves virtually no residue, and provides excellent corrosion protection. DuraKut 601 contains no chlorine and no sulfur yet provides superior lubricity due to its heavy-duty oil package and boundary film lubrication package.

DURAKUT 8873 – Water Soluble Micro-emulsion Cutting & Grinding Fluid.

DuraKut 8873 is a universal, high performance, bioresistant, semi-synthetic concentrate for machining and grinding of all metals, including aluminum. It is a micro-emulsion. This product is chlorine and DEA free.  This product works very well in central systems.

DURAKUT 8805AL – Aluminium, High Performance Semi-Synthetic Cutting & Grinding Fluid. 

DuraKut 8805AL a, high performance, medium to heavy duty, semi-synthetic, biostable coolant concentrate for machining and grinding of steel and especially aluminum. 8805AL is an ester and oil based product. This product is especially great in central systems and individual machines.

DURAKUT Ti – High-Performance Titanium Machining Fluid. 

DuraKut Ti is a high performance metalworking fluid specifically designed for machining titanium. DuraKut Ti combines the lubricity characteristics of soluble oil with the cooling and flushing characteristics of a synthetic.

DURAKUT 004EP – Low oil, Chlorinated Semi-Synthetic Cutting & Grinding Fluid.

DuraKut 004EP is an economical medium duty semi-synthetic, coolant concentrate for the machining and grinding of ferrous metals, especially cast iron. This product is ideal in soft water, not meant for hard water (over 20 ppm). DuraKut 004EP contains chlorinated EP additives.

SAWLUTION – Semi-Synthetic specifically designed for both Band and Cold Saws.

Solution utilizes micro-emulsion technology to provide the necessary cooling for bundle cutting with intermittent cuts while lubricating carbide guides.


Synthetic Fluids:

Metalworking Fluids that form true solutions with no mineral oil. 

DURAKUT 4010 – Synthetic Cutting & Grinding Fluids.

DuraKut 4010 is a medium duty synthetic cutting and grinding fluid for machining of most metals where good EP and rust protection is required. This product is especially formulated for Blanchard grinding.

DURAKUT 4025 – High Performance Titanium Grinding Fluid.

DuraKut Series 4025 is composed of surface interactive chemicals that have been carefully selected to enhance titanium grinding operations. This product thoroughly flushes the surface while providing boundary lubrication with minimal residue characteristics. This product provides exceptional cooling and is meant for grinding only. Formulated to provide extended belt life.

DURAKUT 625CG – High Performance Synthetic Grinding Fluid For Carbide.

DuraKut 625CG is a synthetic grinding fluid for grinding carbide. Formulated to prevent leaching of cobalt binder. Will not turn fluid a sticky reddish to purple color from cobalt leaching.

DURAKUT 9025 – High Performance Synthetic Cutting & Grinding Fluid.

DuraKut 9025 is very heavy-duty synthetic/semi-synthetic cutting and grinding fluid for machining of most metals where good EP and rust protection is required. This product will outperform even the most heavy-duty soluble oils.

DURAKUT 2000 – Ferrous metals coolant.

DuraKut 2000 is a synthetic fluid formulated for moderate to light machining of ferrous metals. It provides excellent performance and long coolant life in individual sumps and central systems.

DURAKUT 621 – Oil Dispersing Synthetic Cutting & Grinding Fluid.

DuraKut 621 – is a medium to heavy-duty synthetic cutting and grinding fluid formulated for cast iron machining, especially for high-pressure transfer lines. It contains anti-clinkering agents.
